Opening of the St. Hanser nature playground
On October 26 the opening of the “Napukis Geheimnis – St. Hanser Naturspielplatz” was celebrated in St. Johann, Saggautal, Styria (Nature park Südsteirisches Weinland).
“Napuki”, the creature of the nature park reveals his big secret and leads the children through five stations. Each station offers a riddle whereby the solutions each reveal one character of the solution word “NATURE”. Pupils from the VS St. Johann contributed with beautiful drawings of animals and plants. Once the secret is lifted, you get the possibility to participate in the annual raffle to win small prices.
The St. Hanser nature playground gives children an understanding of the interdependencies between landscapes, living organisms, and human interactions and highlights the high biodiversity of the nature park. The didactic nature stations are specially designed for children. They encourage autonomous, experiential playing and learning by means of nature materials.
